I started building our family tree on Ancestry.com and have been completel sucked in.  It's addictive to just keep adding names and see where things go.  With a subsciption the site will take a name you put in and search historical records, it's pretty cool.  Found the actual passenger list from 1928 when my Grandma's family came over from Norway.  Even has a picture of the ship itself.  Link to the "Anderson Family Tree":
